Red Net Zhuzhou, June 28 (Substation reporter Ruoye) This morning, at the scene of AVIC Hunan General Aviation Engine Co., Ltd., Mao Tengfei, deputy secretary of the Zhuzhou Municipal Party Committee and mayor, announced that the construction project of the aero engine maintenance center was completed. A four-in-one modern maintenance base integrating aircraft maintenance center, maintenance technology research and development center, maintenance service center, and maintenance training center was officially completed, laying the foundation for Zhuzhou to become a maintenance base for small and medium-sized aero-engines in China.
The construction project of the aero engine repair center was launched at the end of 2011. The total investment of the project is 270 million yuan, a new plant of 18,649 square meters, and 98 newly purchased equipment. After the project is completed, it will become China's turboshaft, turboprop and other medium-sized engine repair and service base. It has the ability to repair 800 aeroengines of various types annually, with an annual maintenance income of 500 million yuan, and directly provides more than 200 jobs for the Zhuzhou area. At present, the workshop of the aviation repair center has been successfully completed, and related equipment has been gradually installed and commissioned. Trial repair work for the three models of engines has been officially launched, and it is expected to enter the small batch repair stage in the fourth quarter.
